About Showpiece Construction

In 1976, my dad started Showpiece Construction. He spent the following fifteen years building impressive homes until creating a new company and career he and my mom both eventually retired from thirty years later, Construction Dispute Resolution. I grew up hearing the do’s and don’ts and the rights and wrongs of building practices. Pulling over at random job sites so my dad could check things out was a regular thing for my family to experience and, back then, I didn’t know the impact it would have on me so many years later. His stories of mediations and lawsuits and how he was able to help people who were being taken advantage of have largely influenced my carpentry and how I run my business. Thirty years after the dissolution of the original Showpiece, I revived the name to fulfill my dream as a builder.

For a decade and a half, I’ve focused on fine carpentry, managing projects of all sizes, and gained in-depth hands-on experience across many different trades. As I continue to grow, I’m spending more time leading projects and much less time on the tools. I’m very passionate about details and frequently research new materials, products, and building practices to stay up to date and to have knowledge for innovation and problem solving for every situation.

Over the years, I’ve built an ever-growing network of trusted subcontractors and tradespeople. I’m truly grateful to work alongside genuinely good people who take pride in their craft like I do and consistently deliver exceptional results. These relationships are built on mutual respect, high standards, clear communication, and a shared refusal to do things the wrong way, even when most wouldn’t notice. Showpiece Construction and all our affiliates work hard to deliver a beautiful product and the confidence that it was done correctly, every time.
